The freedom to be one’s self makes the commute to their chosen work hit different.

The Commute

Interactive Sculpture, Mixed Media, Conceptual Art
Materials: Horse spring rider, wood, spray paint, and the liberating magic of choosing one's authentic path.

For many people with ADHD, self-employment isn't just a choice; it's a necessity that unlocks their true potential. My journey from the constraints of a corporate job to the boundless creativity of a self-directed career exemplifies this shift. Each day, after leaving my corporate desk, my commute transformed into a magical passage—a transition from conformity into authenticity.

The Commute captures this extraordinary feeling. Constructed from a nostalgic horse spring rider, combined with wood and a rainbow of spray paint, this interactive sculpture embodies the playful, uninhibited joy of embracing my identity as an artist. By allowing visitors to engage directly with the piece, it invites them to experience firsthand the exhilarating freedom found in leaving behind external expectations and daring to follow their passions.
